Writing Water

My books are water: those of the great geniuses are wine.  Everybody drinks water."

Mark Twain
My books are like water, for the everyday person."

Enchanted with Reading and Writing

Since childhood I have loved reading.  It transported me from my small town to anywhere in the world, from Agra, India to the beautiful Taj Mahal.  The printed word took me to different times as well.  I'd go see our country through the eyes of Lewis and Clark in 1803, or travel to the future--or to a fantasy land.  I also loved comic books.

In high school and college I became fascinated with the personalities of people who caused the events we call history. Sometimes an event that sparks history is caused by a group of people but other times it is caused by just one person.  Leon Czologosz assassinated President McKinley in 1901 which made Vice-President Theodore Roosevelt president, much to the chagrin of his fellow Republicans who did not like his liberal views.  And what a change he made with his liberal ideas.  History is fascinating.

I read about long horn steers so I couldn't miss a chance to stand by one. Hate to meet one not tied up and standing quietly.
